The Altavinis VAV3 is a elegant and compact wine dispensing system that allows serving wine by the glass with the opened bottles to be preserved for weeks. It is ideal for an ambitious wine list of wine by the glass in restaurants and wine bars. It can also be used by wine shops and wineries to offer high-quality wines for tasting without risk of spoiling remainders.
Altavinis wine dispensing systems are more adaptable (can be extended as required), more affordable in purchase costs and easier to use than closed systems such as wine by the glass or wineemotion. No installation, electricity or expensive maintenance is required. And last but not least, they are a feast for the eyes.
The VAV dispensers are handmade in France from fine materials. The solid oak base holds cartridge, pressure reducer and manifold. Quick-release couplings connect the patented faucets to flexible hoses. The dispenser's spout can be rotated, so pouring is possible from the front or the back of the bottle.
While pressing the button on the faucet, inert gas flows into the bottle and replaces the volume of the wine being poured. In the bottle it works as a protection of the content from unwanted oxidation, thus the quality, freshness and taste of the wine is preserved. When the button is released, the flow of wine stops immediately without dripping.
